Peter J. Gregory ’07 was recently featured among the “2013 Up & Coming Attorneys” in The Daily Record’s 2013 Excellence in Law issue. Gregory is an associate attorney in the litigation group of McConville, Considine, Coorman & Morin P.C.

Gregory earned a B.A. in political science with honors from Hobart College and minored in peer education in human relations. In addition to participating on the debate team and the student phonathon at HWS, Gregory was inducted into the Druids, was president of the College Republicans, a member of Hobart Student Government and Chimera, and served as an orientation mentor and resident adviser. He earned his J.D. from Albany Law School.

Peter J. Gregory considers himself an advocate and advisor, saying “people come to me in need of help. They rely on me to make the situation whole again.”
Make it whole he does, by serving as a trial attorney, an enthusiastic orator, a capable leader and a dedicated volunteer. As such, he is involved with Quad A for Kids, which coordinates after-school programs for children in the Rochester City School District.
“Peter’s colleagues on [our] board of trustees greatly respect his expertise and insights. They value his active participation,” says Germaine G. Knapp, director of donor services for Quad A for Kids.
At McConville, Considine, Gregory focuses on civil litigation matters including general tort law, collections, and complex commercial and business litigation. Gregory excels at public speaking which, he said, one must enjoy in order to work in a courtroom. His colleagues at the firm note that he desires to improve conditions for others, whether they are clients or the beneficiaries of his community service, and feels an obligation to give back.
Gregory also serves on the Alumni Association board for Allendale Columbia School (his alma mater), is a member of Rochester Young Professionals and volunteers with Foodlink.
