HWS Trustee Aileen Gleason ’85, the managing director of GWIM Cash Management and Channel Integration in the Wealth Management Division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and HWS Trustee Penny Weeks ’81, P’15, the managing director of Private Banking at BNY Mellon, will give the talk “Careers in Finance” at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 in Gulick 100.
In her role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Gleason manages the cash management and credit solutions for U.S. Trust and Merrill Lynch. Previously, Gleason was the head of the global treasure payments and receipts product management team in the Global Banking and Markets Division. Gleason graduated with a B.A in economics from William Smith, where she was a member of the Economic Student Committee and the International Economics Honor Society. In 2011, Gleason was awarded The HWS Career Services award in recognition of her support of HWS students. Gleason is currently a member of the Board of Trustees.
A fellow William Smith graduate, Weeks earned a B.A. in English and art from William Smith before joining BNY Mellon. As managing director of private banking, Weeks heads BNY’s multi-million dollar business development and portfolio management loan business in New England. She has extensive experience in managing customized lending and liquidity solutions for high net worth clients, foundations and endowments as part of their overall investment, financial and estate plans. Weeks is also a current member of the HWS Board of Trustees.
