The Center for Global Education is now recruiting for spring 2015 study abroad programs. There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in studying abroad on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Vandervort Room. The first part of the meeting will be a general introduction to study abroad for HWS students. After that, two different break-out sessions will provide more information about some of the many program options available to students.
For the first time, the CGE will be running its domestic off-campus program in Washington, D.C. in the spring semester. The program, led next year by Professor of Economics Alan Frishman, is a favorite among students who are seeking internship experience in the nation’s capital.
The CGE is also recruiting for the following spring 2015 study abroad programs: Bath, England; Budapest, Hungary; China (Beijing, Nanjing); Copenhagen, Denmark; Costa Rica; Edinburgh, Scotland; France (Aix, Marchutz and Renne); Galway, Ireland; Germany (Berlin, Bremen, Landau, Leipzig, Tuebingen); Jordan; Hong Kong; Korea; Maastricht, The Netherlands; Norwich, England; Perth, Australia; Prague; Czech Republic; Quebec, Canada; Rome, Italy; Russia; Senegal; South Africa; Taiwan; and Townesville/Cairns, Australia.
“Even students who do not think they will apply for spring 2015 programs should consider attending, especially if they have not been to one of these info sessions previously,” encourages Doug Reilly, programming coordinator for the Center for Global Education.
