From musical performances and boat tours to food trucks and movie night, Senior Week at HWS is offering up a range of activities for the Classes of 2014 as excitement builds toward Commencement.
The fun continues Thursday, May 15, with the traditional procession of the senior classes down Pulteney Street, followed later in the evening by the Presidential Toast and a performance from the always popular President’s Garage Band. The concert kicks off at 8:30 p.m. in the Vandervort Room of the Scandling Campus Center.

As part of Thursday’s Senior Week festivities, students gathered on Stern Lawn mid-day to rock to Big Eyed Phish, a popular Dave Matthews tribute band. The event also included Tastes of Geneva, a selection of food from the city’s best restaurants, for students to enjoy.
“We knew that we wanted to explore even more events and options outside of what’s always traditionally been done,” says Assistant Director of Student Activities Jessie Marullo. “We worked very hard to provide different types of events that would appeal to everyone.”
Hosted by Student Activities, other Senior Week activities include a casino night, a wine and cheese tour, a boat tour, and tours of Fribolin Farm.
