Alumna Morgan Callahan '06 and her work organizing volunteers for Hillary Clinton's Democratic presidential campaign were featured in a story in the Saturday, Feb. 2 edition of the Kansas City [Mo.] Star.
Callahan was then working from the Clinton campaign office on 75th Street in Kansas City, organizing voters in the Ward Parkway corridor, traditionally a Democratic stronghold. During her seven months in Rochester, N.H., she said, she got to know several volunteers who were supporting Clinton's efforts.
An international relations major and sociology and political science double minor while at HWS, she was president of her class, a member of the Laurel Society, and studied abroad in Vietnam. She has worked arduously for Clinton's campaign, including the time mentioned in Rochester, N.H.; assisting with the primary in Missouri, and then continuing westward to help with the Nebraska caucuses. Callahan will now take a much-deserved break from the campaign for a road trip to Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles to visit some of her fellow William Smith Alumnae.
