Staying on campus over break? Luckily, there are many opportunities for students and community members to come together during the Thanksgiving holiday.
On Wednesday, Nov. 22, students are invited to have brunch with President Gregory J. Vincent ’83. Food will be served at 11 a.m. in Bartlett Theatre.
The Office of Intercultural Affairs will host a dinner where students can enjoy take-out food while watching a movie on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23, the Office will host a traditional holiday feast from 1-3 p.m.
In addition, the Office of Intercultural Affairs will distribute free movie tickets to the Geneva Movieplex on a first-come basis to HWS students for shows on Friday, Nov. 24.
A Pizza and Games party will be hosted at the LGBTQ+ Resource Center on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 7-10 p.m.
All events are free for students to attend.
Katie Flowers, director of the Center for Community Engagement & Service Learning, is coordinating another opportunity for students over break. The Belhurst Castle is looking for a student group to assist with decorating their facility on Friday, Nov. 24. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Saga will reopen on Sunday, Nov. 26 for dinner from 5-7 p.m. Au Bon Pain will reopen on Monday, Nov 27 at 7 p.m. The Café and Cellar Pub reopen on Monday, Nov. 27. The campus-wide shuttle will stop running on Thursday and will resume on Monday, Nov. 27.
