Geneva Concerts celebrates season finale with Mozart

Geneva Concerts' final presentation of the 2005-06 season will feature the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, beginning at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, April 9 at the Smith Opera House, 82 Seneca St.

The year marks the 250th anniversary of W.A. Mozart’s birth, and to help celebrate, the orchestra will present a program featuring his “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik,” “Flute Concerto No. 1 in G Major,” and “Symphony No. 40.”

Music Director Daniel Hege will lead the orchestra and Deborah Coble will be the flute soloist.

The pre-concert talk will begin at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults; Hobart and William Smith Colleges students are admitted free with student ID.
