Henderson stars in play in Ithaca

Tyrone M. Henderson, son of Beth Henderson and the late James Henderson '75, both of Geneva, appears as Eugene in The Kitchen Theatre Company production of “Yellowman,” now playing in Ithaca. James Henderson was a long-time member of the HWS staff.

Written by Dael Orlandersmith, the two-character play explores attitudes in the African American Gullah/Geechee community off the South Carolina coast.

Henderson has appeared in many New York City and regional productions and on television programs.

Information on tickets for the show, which closes Sunday, May 13, are available at Kitchen Theatre.
