Hobart College junior Ben Flanagan finished in fourth place at the Liberty League Cross Country Championships today. Flanagan completed the 8-kilometer course with a time of 26 minutes, 23 seconds. The Statesmen finished fifth overall.
First-year Eric Moore was the next Hobart harrier to finish. He posted a time of 28:15 to place 42nd in the 103-runner field, while classmate Woody Roxon (Mt. Anthony Union/Shaftsbury, Vt.) took the 56th spot with a time of 29:03.
Rounding out the top-five Statesmen was sophomore Evan Turner (29:57, 72nd), and first-year Shaun Viguerie (30:28, 75th).
The Hobart cross country team will be back in action on Oct. 11, when the Statesmen compete in the Hamilton Invitational at noon.
