Gross is Contributor to Journal of American Drama and Theatre

Director of Theatre Robert F. Gross is among the contibutors to the latest issue of “The Journal of American Drama and Theatre.” In an essay, “Fighting Disease, Seducing Cavalrymen and Achieving Modernity: 'Yellow Jack,” Gross considers the dynamics of gender and sexuality in Sidney Howard and Paul de Kruif's 1934 Broadway drama, “Yellow Jack,” which chronicles Walter Reed's investigation into the cause of yellow fever.
