The Hobart College football program will host its annual Alumni and Friends Golf Outing on Saturday, July 25, at Big Oak Golf Course in Geneva. The four-man scramble is scheduled for a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
The Hobart Football Alumni and Friends Golf Outing will be a chance to reconnect with old friends and support the current Statesmen. The support of alumni over the years has driven the Hobart football program to national prominence; including a No. 8 ranking in the AFCA national poll in 2014.
“It would be impossible to do what we do without the consistent support of the SAA and our alumni base,” Head Coach Mike Cragg said. “I’m humbled and honored to be a benefactor of that continued support.”
The cost of the golf outing will be $100 per person and includes the 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, steak dinner, beverages, and an awards ceremony following the round. Awards will be presented for closest to the pin and longest drive, along with the top two teams and the worst team on the course. 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the course as well as team mulligans and entrance into the team skins game.
Appropriate attire, golf shirt and shoes, is required. Registration is limited to the first 36 foursomes (144 golfers). Individuals can register and will be placed on a foursome on the day of the event. Please return the completed registration form by July 2 to secure a spot.
