Mackie Shea O’Brien, a boutique environmental law firm in Boston, was recently named the “Best Place to Work” and the “Most Environmentally Conscious Company” by the Environmental Business Council of New England.
Managing partner Thomas A. Mackie ’77 (right) accepted the awards from council president Daniel K. Moon at the organization’s recent annual meeting. During his time at HWS, Mackie was a biology major and a member of the soccer team.
The Best Place to Work award was given “in recognition of excellence in the areas of employee benefits, compensation, job flexibility, employee confidence, and environmental awareness.” Mackie said, “This is really a reflection of the employees who make our office such a great place to work.”
