HWS's Guitar Ensemble, directed by Kenneth Meyer, will present a concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in St. John's Chapel.
This year's quartet will offer traditional music from Mexico, Spain and England. There will also be solos performed by members of the group by composers including Reginald Smith-Brindle, Agustin Barrios and Leo Brouwer.

Selected performances have been featured on film, radio, and most recently on the Albany records label.
He is an active performer and teacher at music festivals and has been recently featured at the Rome Eastman Guitar Summerfest and the Alirio Diaz guitar festivals. Meyer holds Bachelor of Music degrees in Composition and Performance from the SUNY-Fredonia and his MM and DMA from the Eastman School of Music. In addition to these Colleges, he has taught at East Carolina University, SUNY-Fredonia, Eastman and Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music.
