The Geneva Historical Society and First Choice Travel are offering a Seven-Day New England/Canadian cruise on the Carnival cruise ship Victory, Sept. 27-Oct. 4, 2004. Leaving from New York City, ports of call are Boston, MA; Portland, ME; and Sydney and Halifax, Nova Scotia. See Ground Zero, Broadway, Boston’s historic sites, the rugged coast of Maine, and the beauty and culture of Nova Scotia. In addition, the ship offers some of the best nightlife at sea, including a casino, Vegas-style shows, theme bars, and four swimming pools.
Beginning at $835 per person, the trip includes deluxe motorcoach transportation to New York City, the seven-night cruise, all taxes and port charges, and pre- and post-cruise sightseeing in New York City. The ticket also includes a $40 donation to the Historical Society, which will be matched by Carnival Cruise Lines.
More information about this exciting excursion will be available at an informational meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church, 520 South Main Street. Those planning to attend the meeting, please call the Society office at 789-5151.
