Mental Illness and the Criminal Justice System

The League of Women Voters of Geneva is sponsoring a panel discussion on “Mental Illness and the Criminal Justice System” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility in Hopewell. The speakers will be Alice Haskins, chief corrections officer of the Ontario County Jail, and Bob Corliss, from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, New York State. In addition to the speakers there will be reports from local task forces working on criminal justice issues. For further information contact Kim Reisch at (315) 789-7104.
