The secret to Hobart and William Smith’s relationship-rich education is our faculty. Known for the impact of their research and distinguished by the depth of their mentorship, our faculty have been named among the top 25 in the nation on the Princeton Review’s “Professors Get High Marks” list for seven consecutive years.
In the classroom, our faculty encourage students to explore new topics and learn how to seek solutions to the world’s emerging challenges. During office hours, they meet students where they are and challenge them to build a course of study that leads to a life of consequence. Supporting and retaining our most engaging professors will bolster our faculty’s reputation as accessible teacher-scholars and advance our tradition of academic excellence.
