Graduate Profile: Doug Edlin ’88

Doug Edlin

McHugh Professor of American Institutions and Leadership Colorado College

“After graduating from Hobart, I earned a MA in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Cornell University. I then worked as a litigator in New Jersey and New York for several years, which I enjoyed very much, but part of me always felt drawn by the desire to teach at a liberal arts college. So I returned to graduate school and earned a PhD in public law from Oxford University.”
