Hobart and William Smith gave me the communications and analytical skills to differentiate myself as an engineer. It also gave me a broad appreciation for learning and other life skills. I went on to get masters degrees in mechanical engineering and computer information systems, but HWS, more than any other educational organization, made me what I have been, am, and will be – in more ways than just professionally. My masters degrees are the "accreditations" that I need to do what I do, but my HWS degree allows me to excel at it and to do it with a perspective on life I wouldn't have gotten any other way.
