“HWS helped shape the person I am. The Colleges prepared me for the many challenges I would face in life and equipped me with the experience and confidence to compete when and wherever required. Because of dedicated professors and administrators, a high quality education, a student body instrumental in influencing my world view, the picturesque beauty of our campus and surroundings, and the enduring and precious friendships made that have lasted my lifetime, HWS occupies a very special place with me. I give to the Colleges because I know few good things are self-sustainable. I give because I want others to experience the opportunities that I was blessed to experience. This, for me, is a solemn and joyous obligation. To pay it forward. And, though growing years separate today and college, I give because in so many fundamentally good ways much of HWS remains interwoven with who I am, what I value, and the good I hope for the future.”
