“While attending Hobart and William Smith Colleges, I was fortunate enough to have the unique opportunity of serving as a student representative and voting member of the Board of Trustees; this experience provided me with invaluable information and knowledge about how much of an impact, even the most modest donation, is able to make on a future student’s academic, social and athletic success. Financial giving is of utmost importance in maintaining the vibrant, civically-engaged, globally-aware and diverse HWS community and its growing needs. Without the generous and gracious support of fellow alumni and alumnae there would be no Gearan Center for the Performing Arts and other overall expansive measures that improve the experience of future generations of HWS. Hobart and William Smith Colleges even allows alums, parents and students to select where their support is directed and I intend to give as much as I can so that when I walk through campus during Reunion I can say, “I helped make a difference in the lives of these current students, the community and future members of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.”
