The Colleges changed my life by exposing me to people with ideas and life experiences very different from my own as a native-Genevan. The critical thinking and writing skills and the confidence I developed as a student at HWS provided me with career and volunteer opportunities that I wouldn’t otherwise have had. And, I made lifelong friends. I hope that my donations to Hobart and William Smith and the Geneva Scholarship Associates Fund will, in some small way, give another Genevan the chance to go to HWS and gain the skills to fully realize his or her potential.
