“Always give without remembering and always receive without forgetting.”
― Brian Tracy - Canadian-American motivational speaker

Hobart and William Smith Colleges taught me how to critically think and value the responsibility of giving back to the community that gave to you. The Colleges stand as my longest and most cherished institutional relationship since 1971. My four siblings, the late Philip ’75; Janice ’76, Marilyn ’86, Norman ’88, and my son Dylan; ’16 (and myself) all benefited from a rich and substantial liberal arts education and lifelong friendships at the Colleges.

I have dedicated myself to live a life of consequence — providing insights and mentoring guidance to students and recent alums for decades. I freely donate my time and try to generously donate funds as a simple token of my deep affection for the Colleges and as an acknowledgement of the gifts that I have received.
