HWS Trustee Linda D. Arrington ’88 will lead marketing strategy for the company’s commercial banking unit based in New York.
HWS Trustee and brand expert Linda Arrington ’88 is returning to her roots in the financial industry as chief marketing officer for JPMorgan Chase’s commercial banking unit, as Adweek reported this month.
For the past six years, Arrington served as global brand manager and head of marketing of the RODIN olio lusso brand at Estée Lauder Companies. An experienced marketing strategist at major cosmetics and clothing companies, she has also held senior and advisory positions with iconic global brands including Benetton, Chanel and Diesel. She previously worked for JPMorgan Chase’s investment banking group.
In her new role at JPMorgan Chase, Arrington will focus on creating and running commercial banking marketing strategy, expanding the bank’s existing relationships and attracting new clients.
She told Adweek that she is impressed by JPMorgan Chase’s “unwavering ethos in leading with integrity, its collaborative culture and its innovative approach to creating value for its clients and hence a positive force in their communities.”
“It is such an honor to be able to return to a best-in-class firm to play a meaningful role in helping to build deeper and long-lasting client relationships,” Arrington said.
After graduating from HWS with a B.S. in biology, Arrington earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University. She has served on the HWS Board of Trustees since 2001 and was a member of William Smith Alumnae Council from 1991 to 1993 and again from 2001 to 2009. She has participated as a panelist in the Multicultural Networking Conference and as a keynote speaker for past NYC Fashion Experience career trips facilitated by the Salisbury Center for Career, Professional and Experiential Education.
