Reading Fair to be benefit

A Reading Fair, with books, blooms and baked goods to benefit the Geneva Salvation Army, will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8 at the Salvation Army citadel, 41 North St.

Chester Freeman, author of “The Runaway Bear,” will be featured at the 11 a.m. story time; cookies and milk will be served after his talk.

The event will feature displays from The College Store and the AmericaReads and JumpStart literacy programs from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the Geneva Public Library and Child and Family Resources, and is underwritten in part by Palmisano Funeral Home.
