The South Bristol Cultural Center will offer a series of “Learn to Dance” Workshops from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesdays in May; everyone is invited to the informal classes — with or without a partner.
The instructor will be Esther Brill, co-founder of the Rochester Swing Dance Network, who has taught swing, lindy hop, balboa, Cajun/zydeco, waltz, and blues dance in classes and at festivals across upstate New York.
The schedule is May 2: Swing Dance; May 9: Blues Dancing; May 16: Foxtrot and Waltz; and May 23: Survival Salsa.
Individual registration is $16 per workshop or $55 for all four; for couples, $30 per week or $105 for the series. The South Bristol Cultural is on the west side of Canandaigua Lake between Canandaigua and Naples at 5323 Seneca Point Road, just 1.5 miles south of Cheshire off Route 21.
