Several area wineries and restaurants will participate in Ithaca's Taste of the Nation, in conjunction with the national effort to combat hunger, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 at The Emerson Suites in the Campus Center at Ithaca College.
Tickets are $75 per person, with all of the ticket price going to fighting hunger: 70 percent of the funds raised will stay in Ithaca, 20 percent staying in the United States, and the remaining 10 percent going to help internationally.
Matt Lyttle, Hobart ’06, will intern at the Share our Strength office in Washington, D.C., this summer, before returning for his MAT graduate year on campus. Taste of the Nation and other efforts to alleviate hunger are partially organized at that office.
