Syracuse Stage presents “Menopause: The Musical,” written and produced by Jeanie Linders, almost nightly through June 11 at 820 E. Genesee St., Syracuse.
The show tells about “a Power Woman, Earth Mother, Soap Star and an Iowa Housewife” at a lingerie sale at Bloomingdales. They get to talking — and singing — and soon discover how much they have in common.
More than two dozen “Baby Boomer” songs of the 1960s and '70s are parodied in the show, “celebrating women who are or will be experiencing The Change.”
The stage is dark Mondays and on Tuesday, May 16.
Tickets are $19 to $42 each and may be purchased by calling the box office at (315) 443-3275 or visiting http://www.SyracuseStage.org.
