Guitarist Kinloch Nelson will present a Memorial Day concert from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 at the South Bristol Cultural Center.
His repertoire “synthesizes classical, jazz and American popular music” and ranges from classical to Celtic oldies, balanced by originals and medleys as surprising as they are beautiful.
Admission is $10, with veterans and current military personnel admitted free.
Hot dogs and beverages will be available — free to military personnel.
The Center is holding a plant sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the same day; a wide variety of quality annuals will be for sale at $18.50 per flat, perennials at $2.75 a quart and $8.50 a gallon. Money raised from this event will provide scholarships for children’s programs and funds to maintain the Cultural Center’s gardens.
