‘Bugsy Malone Jr.’ coming to Seneca Falls

Seneca Community Players will present “Bugsy Malone Jr.,” a swinging, dancing, musical extravaganza, starting Friday, Aug. 4 at Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls.

The cast includes 40 children, ages 10 to 18, in a shoot-'em-up gangster show where no one gets hurt and everyone gets to play tough.

When two rival gangs shoot it out to see who will be boss of the town, instead of killing each other off, they “splurge” their rivals with ropes of Silly String, everyone ends up OK and singing “Give a Little Love.”

The curtain will rise at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 and Saturday the 5th; a matinee begins at 2 p.m. Sunday the 6th. Tickets are $7 in advance to “Bugsy Malone Jr.” are $7 general admission and may be purchased at Area Records and Music in Geneva and WomanMade Products in Seneca Falls, by calling (315) 568-9364 or by visiting http://www.SenecaCommunityPlayers.org, and will be $9 at the door.
