A group will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 to clean up the Seneca Lake State Park beach. Assembly will be at Pavilion 3; the work will conclude at 1 p.m.
As part of the International Coastal Cleanup, the Finger Lakes Institute at HWS is holding this community event.
Registered participants will receive trash bags and data sheets to record the types and quantities of debris found. The data collected will be used to better identify sources of pollution and help find solutions for preventing it.
