Trowbridge to sing in Rutter’s ‘Requiem’

The St. Peter's Regional Choir and Chamber Orchestra, directed by MaryAnn Hamilton, will present John Rutter's “Requiem,” with soprano soloist Wendra Trowbridge, an applied instructor in voice on the HWS faculty, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, at St. Peter's Church.

Hamilton was named Colleges Organist at Hobart and William Smith upon completion of her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Eastman School of Music in May 2000. She also holds a Master of Sacred Music degree from Union Theological Seminary, New York City. She is an applied instructor in organ.

Trowbridge received her bachelor's and master's degrees in vocal performance from Ithaca College School of Music. She is also director of music at St. Peter's Church, where she directs three community children's choirs.

No admission will be charged for the Good Friday concert; a free-will offering will be received.
