The Women’s Council of the Geneva Historical Society will present the 38th annual Wassail Bowl and Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at The Presbyterian Church in Geneva, 24 Park Place.
Sale items will include fresh wreaths and greens, kissing balls, table decorations, tree ornaments, handcrafted items, baked goods and attic treasures. A small selection of amaryllis bulbs will be a new feature at the sale. The Society will also sell books and items from its gift shop. Wassail, a traditional spiced cider, will be available for tasting at the event.
The raffle will feature prizes including a two-night getaway for two; a brass floor lamp, historic photographs by P.B. Oakley, and a $50 garden shop gift certificate. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 12 tickets for $10 and are available at the Historical Society office, 543 S. Main St., or at the Wassail Bowl sale.
