Derek Trucks Band has been a work in progress for more than 10 years, blending jazz, rock, blues, Latin, Eastern Indian and other world music into the sound that now defines them. The band’s mission has been to assemble a group of musicians that shares a passion for improvisation and musical exploration, and to develop a united musical vision by performing with this core group of players for an extended period of time.
Trucks is the youngest player to make Rolling Stone magazine's “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” list.
The Smith Opera House is at 82 Seneca St., downtown Geneva; the box office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
