Physician to speak at Women’s Council luncheon

The Women’s Council of the Geneva Historical Society will host its annual spring luncheon and meeting at noon on Tuesday, May 15 at the Ramada Inn Geneva Lakefront. Dr. Joanne Hessney, a critical care physician with Unity Health System of Rochester, will be the featured speaker.

Hessney is a frequent commentator answering health questions on Rochester's WHAM-TV, Channel 13.

Tickets are $12 per person, tax and tip included; meal choices are Grilled Chicken Salad, Mediterranean Stuffed Roasted Pork Loin, and Penne Pasta Provençal. Each comes with fruit cup, rolls and butter, coffee, soft drinks and mousse for dessert.

The annual meeting will include the election of officers for the coming year and an update on a variety of projects.
