As part of the Cornell English Department's Creative Writing program, author William Kennedy will speak at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 in HEC Auditorium of Goldwin Smith Hall on the campus in Ithaca.
His 1983 novel “Ironweed” won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and was made into a movie starring Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep.
The talk is free and open to the public.
