Geneva Theatre Guild will present “The Queen of Bingo,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday the 20th at Geneva's Sons of Italy Lodge rooms, 31 Prospect Ave.
The comedy about two sisters who play bingo and dish the dirt features actresses Pam Rapoza and Eleanor Stearns, who last appeared together in “Lost in Yonkers,” which went on the State Theatre Festival.
The cast also includes Tom Nichols as the caller and Carl Webster, the new Associate Registrar at HWS, making his GTG acting debut as Father Francis MacKenzie Muldoon. Webster has appeared in community theater productions in Iowa, Texas, Idaho and Arizona and in shows including “Lysistrata,” “My Fair Lady,” “To Kill a Mockingbird” and “Man of La Mancha.”
Tickets are on sale in Geneva at Area Records, Don’s Own Flowers, the Sons of Italy Lodge and the UPS Store; in Seneca Falls at The Copy Shop and in Canandaigua at All Things Art. Admission is $12 and $10 for students, seniors and Sons of Italy members.
