Thomas Group, Inc., is hoping Robin Stacey ’72 will be able to attract “the most highly qualified people in the consulting industry,” according to a release they announced when they named her their vice president of human resources last month. The Company is betting on a winner, if you consider Stacey’s track record with companies the likes of Coca-Cola, Calpont and CIGNA, and banks including Barclays, Firstar and BankPlus. She helped transform and improve all of their HR departments and has directed domestic and international HR functions for companies operating in Germany, England, India and Asia Pacific. Thomas Group, Inc. is a global consulting firm headquartered in Irving, Texas. Stacey has extensive HR experience and Thomas Group describes her as “a creative problem solver.” Throughout her career, she has built HR departments and transformed struggling programs. She has worked with national and international companies and has developed expertise in creating executive and employee compensation and stock programs, profit sharing plans, employee relations programs, recruitment programs and managing provider contracts for medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K plans. Prior to joining Thomas Group, Stacey held management positions at i2 Technologies, Inovis, and Candle Corporation. She is a member of various industry associations, including SHRM and Dallas HR. Stacey received her B.A. in history from William Smith and, while here, played volleyball, was a cheerleader and was on the dean’s list.
