On Jan. 24, a faculty contingent from the Colleges, led by Provost Patricia Stranahan, presented an interactive session at the Association of American Colleges and University's annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Titled “Convergence and Connections: Activating Students in the 21st Century,” the session examined strategies for actualizing an interdisciplinary liberal arts curriculum through global and local engagement.
Professors Patrick Collins, Jack Harris, Steven Lee, Lee Quinby, and Craig Rimmerman comprised the panel.
“The session was very well-received,” says Harris. “The audience found the presentation compelling and the Colleges' curriculum challenging.”
