The William Smith Centennial theme house and the William Smith Centennial Committee are sponsoring a pre-birthday bash for William Smith College from 4:30 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6 in the Scandling Campus Center. The party will feature birthday cake, refreshments, music, T-shirts and tie-dying.
Students who live in the Centennial theme house (Sheppard House)-including Becky Perkins ’11, Maggie Maxwell ’11 and Kelsey Bair ’11, all of whom helped organize this event-will be reminding students entering and exiting Saga to go to their mailboxes to pick up their passes to attend Saturday night’s Gala. The first 100 attendees will receive a free “William Smith is my Homeboy” T-shirt that they will be able to tie-dye.
Perkins, who is on the executive board for William Smith Congress, and Maxwell are excited to get the Centennial Celebration underway and wanted to kick it off in a festive way.
Registration for the Gala is required, so don’t forget to do it! If you’ve registered, check your mailboxes on Thursday for your pass.
