Clifton Hood, professor of history, recently served as a panelist for the National Endowment of the Humanities' Division of Access and Preservation. Last semester, he conducted an external review of Manhattanville College's history department.
“The Journal of Social History” is publishing Hood's article “An Unusable Past: Urban Elites, New York City's Evacuation Day, and the Transformations of Memory Culture” in its summer issue.
