Hockey splits first two games in Europe

After touring Geneva, Switzerland, and taking in a professional hockey game, the Hobart College hockey team headed to France for some competition of its own. The Statesmen fell to the Magnus League’s Chamioux 3-2 on Jan. 5, before defeating Morziene, also of the Magnus League, 4-2 the next day. Information is not yet available on Hobart’s final two games.

In addition to their game schedule, the Statesmen have found time to ski the French Alps, tour a glacier, and enjoy the people and culture of the area.

Hobart will continue its regular season schedule on Jan. 15, when the Statesmen travel to Morrisville State at 7 p.m.
