The Stewardson Society recently kicked off the spring semester with a celebration at the Red Brick Inn. The Stewardson Society celebrates members of the senior classes at Hobart and William Smith who make a charitable contribution to The Fund for Hobart and William Smith in their senior year.
The event drew a crowd of approximately 125 seniors. Guests took full advantage of “members-only” specials, nibbled on delicious appetizers and mingled with their classmates while enjoying the musical entertainment by Brad Hester ’09.
The goal for this year’s senior gift campaign is for at least 55 percent of the senior class to leave their mark on HWS with a gift of $20.09 or more. At Friday’s event, the Stewardson Society collected 82 new gifts, totaling more than $1,800. After the success of this event, almost 30 percent of the senior class has made a gift.
Seniors who would like to contribute can do so by contacting Ashley Carrow, assistant director of annual giving, firstname.lastname@example.org, ext. 4069.
