Grab a “Peace” of Pizza

Are you passionate about giving back to the community? Do you love to travel? Then the Peace Corps may just be the perfect fit for you. To find out more about the organization, stop by Trinity 305 on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 6 – 7 p.m. for “Pizza with the Peace Corps,” sponsored by the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning,

At the event, enjoy a slice of pizza while chatting with Peace Corps recruiter Shannon Small and a number of HWS faculty and staff who have worked for the organization. Small will share application information with interested students and HWS community members, including Doug Reilly, Program Coordinator for the Center for Global Education, who volunteered in the Slovak Republic; Hope Galens, International Student Services Coordinator, who worked with the Peace Corps in Guatemala; and Associate Director for the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning Katie Flowers, will share their experiences and answer questions.
