This Saturday, Feb. 14, grab your Valentine and dance away Valentine’s Day at the Fire Ball, the fourth annual Chi Phi charity ball. It will begin at 10 p.m. in the Vandervort Room. This year, all proceeds from the Fire Ball will benefit the Geneva Fire Department and HWS Emergency Medical Services.
Past Chi Phi Balls have included the Red Ball, which raised money for the spread of awareness of AIDS, and the Eco Ball, which promoted awareness of environmental issues on and around campus.
For the Fire Ball, guests are encouraged to set the dance floor on fire in red, orange, or blue formal-wear. Tickets, available in advance in Scandling Center or at the College Store, are $10 each or $15 per couple. But don’t wait too long, this explosively popular event sells out quickly.
