John Kerry will probably not choose Sen. Hillary Clinton as his running mate, said President Mark Gearan in the April 5 Democrat and Chronicle article “Kerry-Clinton ticket debated.”
Political strategists believe Clinton would be a polarizing choice, and would jeopardize Kerry's chances of a win.
With an impressive stable of potential running mates, Kerry doesn’t need to bring on Clinton, said Gearan. And, he pointed out, Clinton has said she’s focused on re-election in 2006.
