Do you believe in magic?
Maybe after orientation weekend, you will!
On Friday, Aug. 28, Alain Nu, “the man who knows,” will appear at HWS in the Albright Auditorium. Nu will be one of many events planned during the Friday night sessions at orientation weekend.
The idea for the mentalist came from Orientation Coordinator Chris Bramwell ’11, who had previously seen a mentalist and loved the experience.
“He can do pretty amazing things,” says Francesca Antonucci ’10, the College’s other Orientation Coordinator. “It should be a really wonderful show.”
Nu, a headlining performer at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas for four years, was also the star of the international series “The Mysterious World of Alain Nu” on TLC. Nu has entertained worldwide, exploring the hidden potential of his audiences, and delving into the unexplained mysteries of history and possibilities.
“My presentations revolve around mysterious topics that blur the line between east and west, present and future, and fact and fiction,” says Nu.
The mentalist, who was asked to appear this year at the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball, which celebrated President Obama’s inauguration, is fascinated with the “mysterious powers of the mind.”
Stop by, and maybe Nu can tell you some new things about your mind.
