Quinn Schwenker ’95 will return to campus as a Salisbury Center for Career Services Professional in Residence on Wednesday, Nov 11. Delivering a lecture titled, “A Career in Architecture,” Schwenker will detail how his liberal arts degree has helped him excel in becoming a partner for the Ford 3 Architects in Princeton, N.J.
Schwenker graduated from Hobart with a BA in architectural studies and high honors in studio art. After graduating, Schwenker went on to receive his master’s degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. As a supervising partner on numerous projects, his work can been seen at a number of prominent schools and colleges throughout New Jersey; including Princeton University, Rowan University, the Pennington School and the Pingry School.
The lecture will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity 305; any interested student may attend. For anyone who wishes to pursue a career in architecture this Professional in Residence lecture will be particularly informative and offer a tremendous networking opportunity. The following day, Nov. 12, Schwenker will further lend his expertise to aspiring architects with scheduled visits to architecture classes here on campus.
