Are you a business nut? Thinking about an MBA?
On Monday, Sept. 21, come learn about the MBA Early Leaders program with the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity 305.
For years, the accepted wisdom from top-tier M.B.A. programs suggested that candidates must acquire four to six years of post-baccalaureate work experience to be competitive for full-time admission. The Simon School is leading the way among top M.B.A. programs in an initiative to attract the best and the brightest students, regardless of whether you have a lengthy résumé. They actively recruit candidates with zero to three years work experience through their Early Leaders initiative.
Are you considering applying for full-time M.B.A. study with limited full-time work experience? The perceived opportunity costs of joining an M.B.A. program directly after college or within a short period thereafter are an important consideration. The Simon School encourages undergraduates to review their student profiles, the section on “The Simon MBA: Now vs. Later,” the available scholarship opportunities and to learn more.
Please email cso@hws.edu if you would like to attend. In addition, individual 20-minute appointments are available on Tuesday, Sept. 22 with an Admissions rep. Please sign up in Career Services.
