If you are interested in participating in the Wall Street Experience, please see the Salisbury Center for Career Services for the application form and return it to Trinity Hall by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19.
On Monday, Dec. 21, and Tuesday, Dec. 22, an exciting educational event will be held in New York City for students who want to learn more about the world of finance from many different angles.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with alums. The list below includes organizations HWS visited on prior trips:
- JP Morgan
- Brown Brothers Harriman
- Deutsche Bank
- Standard & Poor’s
- Bank of America
- Merrill Lynch
- GVA Williams
All applicants are required to complete ALL of the following requirements as part of the application process in order to be considered. Only 25 students will be selected to participate due to space restrictions at the organizations.
1. Participate in two sessions with Associate Professor of Economics Jo Beth Mertens in order to prepare for the event. They will be held on Sunday, Nov. 15 and Sunday, Nov. 22 from 8 to 10 p.m. in Stern Hall, Room 303.
2. Students will have to purchase the required book for this prep course. (costs approx. $15)
3. Students MUST pass the test administered at the completion of the prep courses.
**If invited to attend the two-day event, you will be responsible for getting yourself to New York City and meeting the group at the designated times and places. The group will travel together around NYC once we meet at our first venue.
The day typically begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 5:30 p.m. Complete itineraries will be mailed with acceptance letters.
