The Hobart rowing team’s varsity eight finished eighth in a field of 38 crews in the Collegiate Eight event at the Head of the Charles Regatta.
In frigid temperatures and rain, the Statesmen—Reynaldo Kelly, Max Swagler, Matt Scanlon, Jack Trimble, Francis Craig, Andrew Fosbrook, Carmen Cimini, Harold Zurakowski, and David Grossman—covered the 3-mile course in 15 minutes, 48.198 seconds. Hobart is back on the water on Oct. 25, when the Statesmen compete in the Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
